I finnaly got the time to program my little EV3 R2-D2. The new "Move Sterring" block makes it super easy to create a proportional line follower. Still many loose ends in the latest builds, but I am certain they will all be tied up soon. I posted a screen shot of the software here. Have a look at the model at our upcoming LEGO show here in Christchurch: CBS2013. The biggest LEGO show in NZ ever.

That is awesome! I love the sounds. Very well done, I have no idea about programing, but seems really good!

How did you get it already? I thought EV3 wasn't available till August?

And is it only available thought Lego Education here in Aust and NZ?

This line follower uses the new move steering block. That is why its performance is limited. But it is super easy to implement...

Yes... not sure what happened there??? I'm trying to convert it into RobotC as well and I'm kinda interested in going back and relearning calculus so I understand it a bit better... when I have the time... bring on the Christmas Holidays!

I am going to implement the PID controller (most likely only PI) for rotating my robot, using a HiTechnic compass sensor. I will do this in EV3-G (don't even know the real name) and RobotC when it's released.
