MOC Series - Trade/Industrial Mini Shops

While waiting for parts to continue my multi-storey city structure I decided to knock up a mini-shop which I might toss this onto Cuusoo.

I chose to keep the design simple yet using different design ideas.....yes, that is a paint tint dispenser and also a paint roller display similar to the one used in my hardware store on the bottom floor of the multi-storey building.......comments welcome.

the inside is not bad, the sticker is very papery though! the mixer is very nice!

Errr... Cuusoo? I don't think this will get even close to 10.000 votes.

Not every excellent MOC (and that is what yours is) is good for Cuusoo.

But who am I - do as you please.

Thanks 'doc', but this will go in a project I started similar to Pekko's mini-shops but I called them City Corner Style Buildings.

I'm going to try and make a custom staff member minifig tomorrow.....so as usual keep watching !

Edit - dam it, Cuusoo won't let me edit that project now ?

Oh, well......plan B.....more mini shop designs of my own......hmm, plumbing, welding supplies,......

I like it. The mixer is like real.

And we have great timing... I was painting my room yesterday and puting the Bob Marley portrait and silhouette of the big minifig.

Very nice and realistic shop. It is a perfect addition to any city layout.

This is one of those realistic buildings that I miss in official sets. Though I know it's virtually impossible that anything with a concept like this will ever appear on the shelves.

Another nice shop there LT... I really like the paint mixing machine but I can't help feeling that for a paint shop the interior is a little drab... maybe a different colour might help? (or you could create some paint colour chart stickers for the wall or something?)

The third shop has been started.....hopefully I'll have it finish in the next two days.

What is it you ask.....clues are Gates and NTN......helps if you are also a mechanic ?

Looking great as usual, I love the interiors, they're so detailed (as usual). It's great how you can just knock these up while you're waiting for parts. I seem to spend more time waiting for parts than actually building

Thanks for the comments and I don't work with large bearings.....just tiny ones in audio or video motors.

I'm currently working on the plumbing supply outlet.....should be up by Monday night.

You should do either a drugstore or a bookstore. Neither of them would require a huge building.

Well, thanks for the suggestions....but either isn't very tradeperson or industrial - but reading though the lines.....an industrial clothing/safety outlet might work.....let me finish the plumbing place off.

I quickly got the plumbing supply store completed.....well maybe a little few extra detailing inside yet.

Tool shop (not a hardware store more like the places that sell higher-end tools (and just tools) to tradies and such

Door shop (like a Doors Plus or similar)

Shop selling wood or steel

Shop(s) selling carpet/rugs/tiles/wood floors/other floor coverings

Electrical supply shop (selling electrical gear to electricians)

Shop selling bricks/pavers
