Guys! I was thinking since we haven't hear of any new locomotives yet this year I think we should each build something to replace the old Metroliner with the add-on sets like a sleeper coach or a double decker coach. We could either choose the best one or combine all the designs into one locomotive. After we find a good replacement we should put the locomotive on Lego Cuusoo.

-------Rules-------

1. Must use the PF system.

2. Must have a running theme, like the Metroliner stripe.

3. Must have at least a mock-up or LLD of the add-on pack.

4. Must be reasonable in design, nothing too complex. (for the younger builders)

5. Not required but it would be nice for ability to have a B-model.

6. Must have Opening doors.

Interesting idea... I was considering doing a LDD version awhile back, but nothing ever came of it.

I can't wait to see what comes out of this!

Some rule I would consider is: must have opening doors. Of the regular (non-exclusive) train sets, that same Metroliner was the last with proper doors.

It's more of an American-style version really, since the original set was European...

The actual train is not really that colorful (black and red, my main color scheme) but it does include a GG1 electric locomotive, of which I'm pretty proud of getting to work with LEGO track geometry. Here's a pic of the GG1 remade in PRR brown:

If you want the LXF for that engine, (is has my black version as well) here it is:

...and the train is here (with an older version of the GG1):

Here's that LXF for the model: http://www.mocpages....1340133643m.lxf

You can use both models,if you want, just give credit!

Hope this helps!

That is really nice! Also I'd like to state I just about lost my PC to a Virus so if I am inactive for a few days you'll know why.

Does the GG1 have doors? And it doesn't have the ability to be run by PF.
