Henchmen4Hire Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 (edited) EDIT: Mods, feel free to delete or lock this topic Yes, we all know about vinyl dye, but the articles and posts I saw about it being used to color LEGO bricks are years old, the dye brands talked about (like Mar-Hyde) aren't made anymore. I'm tired of trying to find vinyl dye locally so I have to resort to ebay. I'm going to order Meltonian Nu-Life Color Spray, it's for leather (shoes), vinyl, and plastic so I'm guessing it's dye. Has anyone used this on LEGO pieces before? I'll post pics of the results, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if it works or not so I save myself $10. EDIT: After reading a few of the negative Amazon reviews, there are some people saying it chipped when they banged their shoe on the sidewalk, that means it's paint, not dye. Or they may just not know what they're talking about, like 99% of people on the internet, and it actually scuffed instead of chipped. -_- EDIT 2: A seller confirmed that it is spray paint. Meh.
