"Funnily enough, Jeaux, I have something that could work. I believe one of you has a bone from the previous battle, perhaps it would be pertinent to try that before we start tossing all our shinies at 'em. Just a thought; but if you'd rather empty your packs into the throat of some rock-monster thing then by all means go ahead, I'm only throwing that into the mix."

The metal gears in Jeaux's torso continued to turn as he contemplated the idea. "I suppose this bone may be hard enough to attract their attention, and it is no significant loss if unsuccessful."

"Since the green one is lacking between the ears, we can give it this bone to keep it occupied. The red one loves hard things, so how about we try it with a couple of coins?... and they ain't going to be mine. "Clearly that won't have satisfied him. Let's feed him Jeaux. He's a bigger morsel."

He grinned to show he wasn't serious.

"Lets try feeding a bomb to a rockling, and see what happens."

"What about Heckz, I'm sure no one would care." Benji starts to pick up Heckz but puts him down quickly.

He turns around, back to the rockling that he had fed. Benji puts his arm around the red rockling, to try to be as friendly as possible. "See! We're best friends!" Benji (fakingly, but convincingly) smiles at the rockling.

Haldor winces as Benji starts socialising with the rock creature. It clearly wasn't going to end well.

"Jeaux, toss that green one a bone or two, will you? I want to know that we've got one of them caught if Carvenhall loses his arm. Wouldn't like to be getting that close to the 'hot-headed' one if I were you."

He stops for a moment and chuckles.

"If all goes terribly, we'll have to fall back on what Benji says and make one of them eat a bomb. You never know, we might be lucky and only bring half of the monsters on this island down around our ears."

Jeaux tosses one of his bones in the middle of the of the group of rocklings, observing their behavior in order to form a more concrete plan. He pays close attention to the two rocklings not mentioned by their guides, hoping to gain some information as to any habits the party may be able to use to their advantage.

Benji tries to be friendly, but the rock creature just roars and roams around in a circle. It snaps at Benji, and he loses 1 health. Then, Jeaux tosses a bone, and notices interesting behavior.

"...." The blue one simply looks at it, and seeming to know what it is, looks away.

"Roar! Rrrwww..." The red rockling takes the bone and starts smacking it against the ground, seeing if it does anything.

"Oohh..." The yellow one seems fascinated about it. But he doesn't seem like he actually cares for the bone, but rather is curious about its properties.

"Hrrrr...." The orange one takes it and turns it different ways in the air, the rockling's eyes seem very mischevous.

"Omnomnom!" The green rockling eats it. It then goes over to Jeaux and stands calmly next to him. The party may have won this one over.
