ChewyLuke Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Just wondering if anyone knows: will LEGO make sets based on Spider-Man 3? Or did Mega Bloks screw them over in that department? Quote
sam89 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 There hasn't been any official confirmation, but we can assume they will. The fact that Megabloks have a license with Marvel should make no difference, since Lego have a license with Sony. Quote

I liked the Turtles sets, but the Spideys are awful. More than likely because I'm used to lego spidey. Rumour is they're having 2 Villians this film. Quote
ApophisV Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Quote Rumour is they're having 2 Villians this film. Lets hope this, otherwise the movie will be very very boring.... No tense because of Pete's relation to MJ and an already known villain (green goblin 2) wouldn't make a really good base for the next movie.... Quote

Possibilities I've heard are: Black Cat, Venom and GG. But they have said they may not even use Green Goblin 2. If its anything like Spidey 2, I'll be very happy. Quote
ApophisV Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 But it HAS to be the Green Goblin 2 (harry)... Otherwise the last scenes of Spider-Man 2 would be completely senseless... They have a storyline through the two movies and made the end of part 2 look like the storyline will be continued in part 3, so I think they'll go on with this... But nonetheless they should show us a new villain, and hopefully he'll be as great as Ock and GG (which both were two of the best super hero villains I've seen in any super hero movies.... I don't remember many others that reached their level, maybe the Joker, resulting from Nicholsons great acting skills) Quote
The Middleman Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I'm holding out for Venom, he's just so wicked cool! :-D Quote

yoda601 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I ithnk it would be best if they had HobGoblin and Scorpion and Harry learning how to use the GG stuff... Quote
The Middleman Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I think Hobgoblin should be Spiderman 4, not 3. We need Venom! *sing* Quote

Hey, if it gets the sales it has been, there's going to be a Spiderman 4 whether the director wants it or not. Quote
David85 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Not if they kill off Spiderman. The forth Spiderman could turn into the fourth Superman. Quote

David85 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I think you have that backwards. He likes doing the movies and he had plans for 3 movies. Why would Sony want to stop? That doesn't make sense. Quote

MattZitron Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Here's a link I found. See what I said? Matt Quote
ApophisV Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I'd be more happy if there will be only 3 movies instead having a 4th that is propably just bad.... Quote

ApophisV Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 If he does the fourth part for sure. At least as long as he does it for pleasure and not because of financial reasons... If the producers get another director only for the reason that there will be a sequel I'm not really sure if it'll be the same... Finally Raimi made a totally unique superhero movie and I'm not sure if this style can be continued by any other director.... Quote
The Middleman Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 As long as they're kept within close range of each other, sequels are good. Sequels decades later aren't. Pocahontas, Snow White, every other Disney movie under the sun, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, etc. Good ones including Spiderman 2 and Shrek 2, for example. Quote
MattZitron Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I reckon Spidey 2 was better than Spidey 1 because the studio had more faith in Raimi. Cause Spidey 1 had made such a killing, they gave Raimi the chance to play. And it paid off. Matt Quote
