Well today, with my mum, we made a victoria sponge cake for my dad's 47th birthday on wednesday. Some pictures in this gallery.

Comments- Well, for my first time icing a cake, i think this went quite well, The text went suprisingly well, as did the ballons, but i think i could have made them smoother. Something that could be improved though is the black "prancing horse" symbol of ferrari. My dad is obsessed about ferrari as i am, but i think it could have been improved.

Another one on the way, my sister's birthday next wednesday, so i'll post the results in this topic.

Geesh, this topic makes it sound like a MOC :-D

Anyway, what's important to me is that it tastes good, not how it looks. So, how was it? ;-)

I can answer that now- very nice! It has jam and butter cream in it, and my dad had the peice with the prancing horse on.
