Eggyslav Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Just a little showcase of some ideas for future CMF series. If anybody else would want to show their vision of new Minifigs, feel free to post'em here. Here we have all minifigs from my series: Upper Row, L to R: Pirate (A crewmember of series 8 Captain), Archeologist, Silent Movie Actor (Obviously based on Charlie Chaplin), Cyborg (Terminator style), Female Jockey, Damsel in Distress, Dark Elf, and Boy Scout. Lower Row L to R: The Hunchback (Quasimodo), Medieval Monk, Kung-Fu Master, Metalhead, The Monster's Bride, Flight Attendant, Wizard and Gamer. And Now Close-ups, and some words on the accesories. Pirate: has a dark Reddish brown hat and flintlock pistol, and a light green parrot. Archeologist: A reddish brown bag, fedora, a magnifying glass, and a white bone. Charlie Chaplin Silent Movie Actor: just a black bowler and walking cane. Hunchback: Reddish brown farmer's hat, and a hump, made of a neck bracket, Fez, and military helmet (TLG would rather make a new mold for it). Monk: reddish brown hood, short cape, white quill. Also a book, and hair, if you want your monk to take off his hood. Kung-Fu Master (AKA Sensei Wu meets Pai Mei from Kill Bill vol. 2 ): White Hair, Beard, and a really cool oriental staff. Cyborg: reddish brown crewcut, Gunmetal ADU Gun (It may not be visible, but he has Dr. Rathbone's mechanical leg piece in gunmetal color) Jockey: Friends black horseriding hat (with blond ponytail), a golden ribbon (with a blue star under is, so it can be held in hand), and a black whip. Damsel: Nothing, apart of medium blue princess headdress. MetalHead: black Dumbledore's wig, Gunmetal spiky pauldrons from PoP theme, Black and dark red Friends Guitar. (I tried to give him a KISS-like facepaint, but I couldn't find an accurate face print ) The Bride of Frankenstein Monster: Dr. Inferno's hair (The closest thing to the original's black and white hive-like hairdo). Flight Attendant: a blue Garrison cap (Maybe TLG would finally itroduce this piece in real...), a reddish brown suitcase, and white 2x1 tile, which is supposed to be an airplane ticket (needs printing). Dark Elf: White LEGOlas hair with medium bley ears, Gunmetal Shredder's Pauldrons, two Gunmetal Katanas (Before you ask: No, their names aren't Twinkle and Icingdeath ). Boy Scout: Olive green ranger hat, reddish brown backpack, pearl gold trumpet Wizard (First Lego wizard wearing a long robe instead of pair of trousers!): Earth Blue Wizard Hat, Medium Lilac cape, and a staff, consisting of Pharaoh's Quest staff, and Trans bright bluish violet magic wand. Hardcore Gamer: reddish brown hair with white headset with microphone (think LAN Party ), a black laptop (there would be a print on a screen, depicting a game he plays), and a can of whoopass energy drink (the pearl silver round tile would also do for a cd i guess...). Any suggestions? I Hope you like this little presentation, and maybe come up with more interesting Ideas. Toodles, Eggy. Quote
pillpod Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Cool idea. I like the boy scout the most. The metalhead and wizard are pretty cool, too. Quote
lifeinplastic Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) Some good ideas based on parts available and a few likely to be made in future... I've always wanted to see a blue macaw version of the original parrot. Another pirate would have to be significantly different from the Series 8 one. There is a good air hostess Concept Art (was this a Toth design?) which would look great - the only thing is the hairpiece was part hat/part hair so several of these would all look the same rather than being able to use other hairstyles/colours. The wizard will surely appear (though maybe not yet due to the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings). There will be a barbarian in the next series so hopefully a wizard will fit in with this and the elf and dwarf for a Heroquest-style team. There was a jockey in the Team GB Olympics line but for me a jockey should look like a Grand National Jockey. Hopefully one will appear soon so we eventually get a number of repeats with different outfits. A damsel would please castle fans - but I would prefer a Marie-Antionette lookalike. A medieval monk would look great with a brown-haired version of the Series 10 Grandpa's hair. I really like your silent movie star, the archaeologist and the boy scout. TrumpetKing Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 These are really cool! I love them! I would like to point out though, that there is a "What minifigs are we missing?" thread in the General Discussion (?) forum. You might want to post these there or have a Moderator merge the topic for you. But these are actually really cool! Quote
Good Cragger Fan Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I like the Pirate Crewman (for me to use as one of the pirate crew of the Minifigures Series 8 Pirate Captain), Dark Elf, the Hunckback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo) (for me to use as an additional Forestman in the Castle and/or Kingdoms themes), Medieval Monk (though I highly doubt that this will ever be made by LEGO, it being due to the religious nature of it ), Kung-Fu Master, and Wizard. Eggyslav Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) Thank you all for kind comments! @Lifeinplastic: By Marie Antoinette look, you meant this? Nah, just pulling your leg here, How about this? You have to admit it, Andrea's hair make a perfect 18th century wig in light grey...... As for the ribbon, I'd prefer smaller Bellvile one, but couldn't find it in LDD. And now for something Completely different: YARRR! Stand and Deliver, me fine Lady! Put all yer precious bounty in 'tis bag! Edited April 21, 2013 by Eggyslav Quote
ResIpsaLoquitur Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I'm dying for Lego to make a Headless Horseman, particularly now that Monster Fighters is done. Maybe a black version of the Revolutionary Soldier with a vampire cape. Add in a black version of the One Ring from the LOTR line to secure the cape on his neck. Accessories should be a sword and a pumpkin for a head (which he'd carry in his hand). Also, how about a Park Ranger? I'm thinking of U.S. park rangers, as I don't know what other countries' rangers look like. Wide-brimmed hat like with the Forest Police, green uniform, binoculars and a map for accessories. Quote
