amzy Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) Here is a bus created using the colours of the local buses where we live. My 4 year old loves it :) My husband wants to now create one with a red front as they have new buses here with the red & yellow swapped around. I drew it up in LDD first and then found all the pieces on bricklink. Next time I will use a spreadsheet to keep track of my purchases as I thought I had everything but first time we tried to build it there were still pieces missing. Based on the bus in the City Corner 7641 set. http://www.brickset....ail/?set=7641-1 http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/358701 (will be visible in the next 2 hours) Edited April 14, 2013 by amzy Quote
timmyc1983 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Looks great :) I'm not familiar with the Adelaide bus service but I'm sure it's very accurate. And dw, I always have an excel spreadsheet for BL orders and still over/under order haha! Maybe that's just me tho... Quote
jonwil Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Nice to see that I am not the only one doing LEGO models of Australian buses :) Quote
Aussie BJ Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Welcome to EB looks great well done, but I wouldn't like to put a minifig in the back seat.. Quote

Very nicely done with a touch of classic town too.......but the driver looks to awake or happy to be a real bus driver in Adelaide eh ? Hope to see more of your work 'amzy' plus it was nice meeting you and your family today at Railshow......Brick On ! Quote
