My history on these games is pretty sketchy but it seems that if Shawna is a self confessed serial killer then surely todays lynch is a no brainer? Every time we've gone with peoples hunches (no names mentioned) we've had town expelled. I voted yesterday at the suggestion of someone who I thought was clearly Town, I changed my vote off Andrew to help Town as I saw it, I'm regretting that now!

If we don't do something about this we will have another situation like with Claire where no-one can trust her 100% and Clanure our "investigator" who has come up with diddly squat again.

I'm getting more suspicious of his claim. No solid information until people are expelled, wrong information about a townie being scum and now he's come up blank. Blocked or just claiming a role to hide?

Shawna needs to go - if our investigator had come up with something concrete we maybe could have used the serial killer but even then that sounds far to risky now.

This was meant to be a training scenario for me to see if I could expel as many targets as I could and not get caught out. That's the real story. And I doubt, this being the academy, they'd throw something like that at us yet. Just because I cant make sure to get online again before day ends. I was highly suspicious of him during the first days and his answers and behavior so far didn't change that. I still want to hear from Burton and Brian.

His posts didn't make sense. It was hard to tell if it was scumtell or if he was just new to the rules - you can never know. But I wanted a conviction yesterday and I had too many candidates to choose from. I hoped that the results of the night would show more than they actually did. In the best case we would have known of 3 scums. Now we know of 1 and lost 1 townie. Could have been much worse but not the goal I wanted to achieve.

For right now, I think taking out shawna is the best plan. She's either scum or neutral, and she's killed town, so no reason to trust her. That would give another night of activity to hopefully learn from as well. So it's a safe vote I think.

Otherwise, IF we thought we can trust her to take out a highly suspected scum tonight, then I'd say Andrew and Cameron need to go. We could vote one out and have her take the other. I'm about 90% confident that would be 2 scum gone.

I have to agree with Davey about Burton Guster as well - he didn't join the bandwagons against Bud and Wendy, but he didn't need to. He was first against John yesterday. And I don't put much stock in the Simone votes, since we had evidence and it was nearly unanimous.

I did say *IF* we could trust shawna to take out who the town said to. I don't think we can because I think she's the scum's killer, not a serial killer. I've never been part of any group but at least being on my own I only voted for two of the 4 townies that we wrongly expelled. So now I've decided to be more vocal, since what we've been doing is not working. I'm not trying to be bossy, I'm just sharing my thoughts and anyone is welcome to agree or disagree, side with me or try to change my mind. I'll certainly listen to any input others have. As it stands, we're down to 14 students and the game could be over at any time if they manage to pick off more loyal students. Since we don't know how many Mesas there are, expelling 2 town could be enough to end the game. My guess is that there's 5 or 6 scum, so we CANNOT afford to be wrong again. Given our track record, my hopes sadly aren't high of winning. But every scum we can expel essentially buys us another day to hunt them.

No. If we voted for Andrew or Cameron and asked shawna to take out the other, that wouldn't be two town gone. Even assuming shawna is scum - which I think she is! - she'd take out a town that we didn't ask for and we'd still vote out andrew or cameron, both of whom I give 75%+ odds of being scum.

HOWEVER, voting out shawna is clearly the best option since I see no evidence that she's a serial killer, only that she's scum. I am curious though to get more info on blocking results - see if the town blocker has stopped her or if someone else has been.

Why haven't you been more vocal then before? Why did you stand there doing nothing but watching the town running in a disaster like this? And regarding your voting record: This is exactly scummy behavior. You know who is scum and who not, so you can put your vote on other people just to say "Hey, it wasn't me!".

And what I don't like is that you are so defensive. A real townie does not have anything to hide and does not have the desire nor the need to edit posts he made.

I wasn't more vocal because I didn't have any knowledge to be vocal with. I still don't have any real knowledge - I'm just sharing my thoughts and trying to get more useful discussion going.
