They do a great job and it takes a lot of hard work to keep everything running smoothly. I really appreciate it. Angeli knowingly broke the rules of the site (not in this forum) and was banned for good reason several months ago. I miss him a lot both as a builder, and as an active contributor to the development of Historica. As we look for ways to reinvigorate the Historica forum, I thought of his sense of fun and energy. The purpose of this thread is NOT to disrespect or disagree with the mods. I hoped that if we could collect a number of signatures of members of Historica who would like to see Angeli back, we could petition for his return - maybe limited to Historica only. If we show a strong feeling on this, we may be able to convince staff to give him another chance. But he must agree to abide by whatever conditions they set. Anyway, preamble over, I will be the first to sign the petition to allow the return of Angeli to Historica robuko

That business with using his then girlfriend's account, while his contest was still going on seemed permissable, but after that it began to be a bit rediculous. Starting him over as a new member may help. Add gedren_y to the petition.

And I am not trying to act like a member of the staff when I say this. But I believe a banishment is a banishment and I don't even know why he was banished. You think he had a chance, but then he used his girlfriend's account, which kinda cheesy if you ask me. But that's just my opinion and I think it is best to leave this matter to the staff of Eurobricks, they know what is best. So with all that being said, I'll just let the staff decide on this issue.
SkaForHire Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 If I recall, and this was only through multiple posts that I heard this, Angeli was banned for leaking pictures that LEGO did not want leaked yet. He jeopardized EB's relationship with the company, because he posted them here. This decision may actually be completely out of the hands of the EB brass, it may have been a demand by LEGO. I could be totally wrong. I would like to see him again also, as it did make for a lot of interesting stories. But, if he can't be restored because of the offense, then he can't be restored.

Further, those decisions are the private concern of the staff and the member in question and will not be shared or discussed beyond that. I'll go ahead and lock this now.
