Grimofdoom Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I am starting a new project call: NXT-Boy. It is basicly a game device made for the lego NXT using a 5 button control system and 1 lego nxt 2.0 brick. I created the device, but i am looking for anyone who want to join.(I am a newb at using the lego nxt software disk and want to use a diffrent software and was hoping someone would join and also help me learn actual programming for lego nxt without drag and drop -_-(yes i do have experience with python programming)). I will post an image set later if anyone wants to join(it is a really basic design) Quote
Carsten Svendsen Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) You should definitely try out some C+ programming - RobotC is what you're looking for. Edited March 11, 2013 by Carsten Svendsen Quote
Jim Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Definitely agree with Carsten. Robot-C is great for programming the NXT brick. There's lots of support and documentation. I don't have much time right now. Otherwise I would have joined your project Looking forward to the images with your basic design! Edited March 12, 2013 by Gekke Ted Quote
Ramacco Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Why don't you just program your NXT using python? You can do that via DirectCommands. This means that your NXT is the slave from your PC. (All tasks runs on the pc) Quote
