Hi everyone.

I've been reading here for a while and really enjoy the forum.

I'm a child of the 80s and technic has always been my thing. I have recently got back into building and am starting to get my head around studless construction. Some of the classics such as the test car, backhoe and air tech claw rig will always be my favourites.

I bought the suspension parts for 8865 and the buckets for the backhoe excavator from the lego mail order service but never had the pieces to build them completely. Through the powers of peeron and bricklink recently I have been able to complete both, along with a few others that underpinned my technic building childhood.

I am starting out on a few of my own creations so thanks to all for the inspiration and discussion through these pages.
