New (old) LEGO Pirate commercials!

Hey all!

I was browsing YouTube recently, and found a couple of LEGO Pirate commercials I hadn't seen before. One is from

, the other is from

. Both have a modified pole piece used for a telescope--thank goodness we finally got a real telescope piece!

I had seen a clip of the '93 commercial in a reel that Advance uploaded awhile back--it's good to see the rest of it! :)

Maybe we could build a video index. I.e. have all the YouTube videos embedded into the first post of this thread.

Then we'd have a one-stop resource for these things.

Good idea with the index - I'm all for it. Especailly if it is with the official LEGO pirates commercials

Brickington, you've done a pretty good job!

Although, I'd make a couple of changes.

1. Give the link a more unique title to more easily identify the commercial.
   
2. Make the link more title like. In the example below I've made the text bold and font size 18.
   
3. Embed the YouTube video beneath.

Thanks for the Feedback! I made the changes. However, I tried to post the YouTube videos, but it says I'm not allowed to post that much media in one post.

Ok, let me know when you come up with a solution. If that media limit wasn't there I would have all of the YouTube videos out.

Thanks for sharing those old commercials! Makes me want to build my old Pirates sets. Remember the story each set had on the inside box flap?

The ending music score of the Lego Pirates 2009 commercial sounds A LOT like the PotC track. Too bad I missed those sets. I was in my dark ages then. :/

I'm all for creating a permanent index/discussion thread for commercials; either using this topic or by starting a new one--I looked around for one to post these in before I started this topic. Maybe the title can be updated each time a new commercial surfaces?
