ClearyCoachworks Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I haven't played with my LEGOs in years but have decided to build a Minifig scale replica of the house i intend to build in a couple years. Eventually its going to be a big model of my whole property which is 5+ acres (350'x700'). I dug out my stash of LEGOs from my parents basement last week, but ill likely be ordering what i need due to colors. I went to the local LEGO store and bought 4 48x48 baseplates to start, i wasn't that impressed with the brickwall, it was mostly random things no one would ever want in bulk. i joined here as ill need some advice on how to build a few things like the roof. my first dilemma is that one of the pieces i will need is difficult to find. The house will be a log cabin and the corners i want to build like this one. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/20153 Ill need a bunch of reddish brown #4733 from what i can tell. is bricklink my only source? if so ill be buying almost everyone out! thanks and ill post some progress once i make some :) Quote
DaveBey Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Howdy and welcome to Eurobricks! I'll need a bunch of reddish brown #4733 from what i can tell. is bricklink my only source? if so ill be buying almost everyone out! You could always use element 47905 stacked perpendicular with one another instead of element 4733. Cheers from Claremore, Oklahoma USA! Dave Quote
