krumb Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Just wanted to say hi to everyone in my first post. I was a lego fan as a kid and now have kids of my own who are fans. My son and I recently have begun some medieval mocs and discovered these great forums through Derfel Cadarn's amazing "Detailed guide to building a medieval village". Since then I've been lurking and enjoying the amazing mocs. :) Fan of medieval and pirates themes and a pretty big fan of the newer very detailed stuff like Palace Cinema. Quote

tedbeard Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Welcome. Maybe I'll see you @ BrickCon in October. I live in Victoria, BC and I usually try to put something in the Castle display. Edited February 4, 2013 by tedbeard Quote
krumb Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 There is a big Lego event in Portland during October so we probably won't make Brickcon Quote

krumb Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Ted, I am planning on taking my kids to Lego Kidsfest when it swing through and it's four days or so afterwards. I'm also planning on hitting Bricks Cascade in June which is much closer. Who knows though, I might take the oldest and make the drive to Seattle. :) Quote

Wow, that seems like bad timing. BTW what is "LEGO Kidsfest"? Some sort of company travelling show? (We don't get those sorts of things North of the border.) Quote
