Hail to thee, this is the first MOC created by me and my brother on this forum known as Sigolf Brimabane (ok second for my brother but whatever XD).

Close to the summit of Mt.Mitgard stands the ancient fortress of the Wyrm Clan whose founder slew the primordial wyrm whose skull now crowns the battlements of the fortress...

The Wyrm Clan hold the Mountain as sacred, as it reverberates with the ancient primal magic of the fire god, and vigilantly protect it and its surrounding against intruders who would defile this sacred place.

The fortress is but the gate to the Wyrm Clan's abode as they reside within the mountain, protected from the heat of the burning mountain by powerful magic wards created when the founders of the clan first settled the place. Inside the mountain is the Volcanic forge of the Wyrm Clan where they create weapons and armor imbued with the primal magic of the mountain.

The only way up to the fortress is a narrow mountain trail unless the Clan allows you to use their cableway (normally used to move goods up and down the mountain).

The heroes of the Wyrm Clan departs to join the fight against Revolword (presumably we join lord Glorfindel as he is gathering the clans of Mitgardia)

Thank you very much :D We are very pleased with the skull too x) We sarted with the skull just to see if we could make something (and the scarce white parts suficed just to make the skull), so we didn't expect it to turn out that good.

If anyone has a better idea for the skull's horns though... it would be welcome ^^

Btw... Imagine the size of that wyrm if we would build the whole skeleton! x)

Very solid & nice looking fortress you made here!! I love the playability you created in this!

Also great job on the tower & the roof of the guardhouse :classic:

Nice job! I like the way you were able to incorporate the mountain into the rest of the build, very clever! Nice addition with the brown as well, it makes for a good contrast with the stone!

Very clever part usage. I like the idea. The skull turned out great and it looks awesome with the doorway through the back of the throat.

Keep up the great work.

Great build! The fortress is very intimidating and I like the mix of wood and stone

Lots of nice details like the rope bridge, crane, interiors, the tower in the back, the section of mountain/rock.

You'd be a welcome addition to Glorfindel's force, though I don't have either of your character's heads, perhaps they could wear helmets that cover their faces? Let me know which helmets you would like and I'll include your guys in my next 2 builds :classic:

great first moc you guys! Now is that a coproduction or just Erikur's moc?

Thanks! :D It is a co-production ^^

Soccerkid6: Thanks a bunch! We took a picture with the helms we would wish to have, if you have them :D

The green looks a bit not green... :/ But it is green x) I have black gloves on my fig and Erikur's fig has dark grey.

Agreed, except the horns, pretty awesome skull - I am sure you guys will figure something out.... right after you disassemble it ! I really like this fortress, and it looks quite formidable.

I agree about the photography, but it is hard to do a big MOC, and at least you tried to make a solid background (which is more than I can say for myself most of the time! :sceptic: ) It seems that your focus points are off though. Without knowing what kind of camera you are shooting with, I don't have any pointers though - although most modern point and shoots have facial recognition that works really well finding minifig faces.

Thanks ^^

The camera is a bit old though it has facial recognition so it's probably just me being a novice photographer XD

Just need to get more white bricks so we can improve the skull!

Really nice creation for a first MOC, some nice details and the dragon head is impressive if a little oversized. Keep building!

LOVE THE SKULL AND THE WAY THE CASTLE IS BUILT INTO THE ROCK

There is no need to type in caps lock, please follow site guidelines in future with proper punctuation and typing.

Thanks.

Thanks ^^, Well it was a truly ancient wyrm so it was probably hundreds of meters long (aptly Godzilla sized XD) due to dragons living practically forever and the fact that they never stop growing no matter how old they are. At the end of it's life it was more like moving natural disaster, engulfing historica in it's flames and would have continued to do so if it weren't for a certain hero...
