RaincloudDustbin Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) I've been busy for a while now working on Superhero customs and here is something I have wanted for ages. The Riddler's cane- a proper one. The Riddler by TTPES, on Flickr -TT Edited February 2, 2013 by Shadows Protip: On Flickr click "Share" then BBCode, then copy and paste it here. Quote

RaincloudDustbin Posted February 2, 2013 Author Posted February 2, 2013 Thanks to whichever mod embedded the picture, looks much better now. Nice! Im going to guess you used one of those bendy tubes in gold with a pirate hook!? Well done Actually it's a cream wand piece because I know it wouldn't be so clean if I paint it. Quote
Repeter Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Great idea! I have a couple of those hooks lying around...I'll have to search for a cream wand piece though. Quote

Legoman123 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) This is by far the best cane I have seen for The Riddler. Edit: What is the tube piece called that you have used? Edited April 9, 2014 by Legoman123 Quote
AmperZand Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 All due credit to RaincloudDustbin for the hook-as-question-mark idea. I used it in this MOC of the smartly dressed Riddler: Quote
autorazr Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) Is credit important? I figured this out a year ago at least (and I got it from someone else). I'm not bragging or trying to diminish your efforts, but this is lego, you're never the first to discover a new connection, nor is it really something that should be considered so personal. It's just my belief that we should just accept that people will use our ideas, that's actually why I post, so people can use my ideas, credit garners nothing for me, the reward is that y'all use my ideas. Sorry, autorazr. I genuinely thought Raincloud came up with the idea first. You raise an interesting question about giving or not giving credit that goes way beyond this thread about the Riddler's cane. So I started a new thread in the General forum here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=95058 Quote

So I started a new thread in the General forum here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=95058 oh cool, good idea for a thread. No need to apologize, I really feel no sense of ownership over any lego idea. I believe anything I may have come up with was probably done by someone else somewhere at least once before, really I just ask because I've taken a lot from other builders, and never credited, I hope I'm not pissing anyone off.
