I was at the soft opening of the LEGO store in Glasgow yesterday. Feels great to have one in Scotland

Yeh I was there yesterday and back again today with my son. It is good having a store in Scotland and the chance to get parts from the pick a brick wall. Yesterday I got the Cinema and some parts that I needed from the wall then some parts for my son today as well as him building plenty of minifigures and a couple of sets. Hopefully the PAB wall will change over time as loads of 1x1 plates and 2x4 bricks. But good all the same and very helpful staff.

Those of us with LEGO stores nearby are spoiled by how easy it is to drop in and see what is new. I find the stores to be so entertaining. And it is fun watching how folks respond to the store...many of the children become live wires surrounded by so many cool sets and displays. Makes me want to be a child again.

Glad they finally put a store in Glasgow so Scots have one of their own. Another reason to visit Scotland!

At least you have have one your continent our closest one here in Australia is the store in Honolulu, Hawaii. I don't think TLG understands how popular and busy having stores in oz both and nz they will be.

As they have a factory in Czech Rep, it would be logical to have a store at least there
