I really wish I had some pictures of my old Technic mocs. I rarely finished a project, and the ones I did finish looked pretty bad. I had a studded fighter jet that had mixed up flight controls (rudder connected to the control stick) and landing gear that didn't work right.

Worst thing I ever built was with my RCX 2.0 set. I'm horrible at programing stuff, and I could never figure out how to program it. I built a contraption that bolted over my bedroom light switch. I could use the remote to turn on/off the lights from my bed. It worked ok, but that was probably the worst and only thing I've built with an RCX.

I would have to say that my worst MOC was my first attempt at a supercar, when I was 7 or 8 years old. It was AWD, it did have steering, and the axles did work well, but it didn't have suspension, and I made the dumbest mistake with the gearbox. The input of the gearbox was hooked up to the front axle, and the output was hooked up to the rear axle. So, the axles would go at different speeds. The gearbox was the 4 speed by Sariel though (nonsynchronized)

The ugliest: And I though it was awesome that long time ago (1 year).

While the MOC I think is actually fine, I wanted to point out that those wheels look really ugly and yellowed, you should really clean them.

My worst MOC was made in the 80s and I have no photos from that era. It was an ugly snowmobile made from parts from the 8660 arctic rescue truck set. It was motorized with set 8700.

I don't make mocs very often (although there's one that is almost done, you'll see it soon), but I that doesn't mean I don't have a worst moc. My worst moc (as far as I can remember) is this one:

The smiley face box trailer still shames me. It was thrown together quickly to go with the 8871 you can see there. I was part way into designing a rounded section for an unrelated project when I got asked for the truck/trailer for a display. For some bizarre reason I looked at the curve and thought "trailer with rounded front", so I built it. Then because I was insane, I put the smiley face on the side. I'm not sure this even qualifies as a technic model...

Prepare to laugh your a**es off at my very first and worst ever MOC, built when I was very young! It didn't handle too great!

And we have a winner! O.o Wow stunningly painful. I'm impressed that you were willing to share it.

My first Technic MOC, it was a 4x4 with independant suspension and a gearbox but eventhough it had an RC buggymotor It didn't move, it could steer but not return-to-center...

Since then I realized it never worked because of the gear ratio, the RC Buggy motor had to be geared down, nowadays I manage to build cars that really work, driving and steering by Remote (because I'm smarter now and I have better parts)

But allas they are never finished...

Wait... is that a soft shock absorber with no wheel just hanging there?

It may have never worked but it's nice to look at!

Sure do  , well I was 7 when I created that masterpiece!

Yes, yes it is

Here is my first MOC, note its wasn't build with Technic bricks.

I made it when I was a kid, so forgive me that not all blocks are Lego.

Now I'm older, and I'm a serious builder, I use only official Lego-parts.

Ah 7, that's not that bad then. I don't have any pictures to my knowledge of anything prior to my dark ages. Excluding one image of me getting a castle set for Christmas. (See Flickr)

Yeah, I was thinking that too..... just wanted to wait until someone else posted about it so nobody thought I was crazy.

Here's my first one this year, it looks good, but dang the engineering was terrible! Every gear crunched and barely moves. The steering would disintegrate after just the slightest bump.

As long as we learn from our "disasters" its not a waste of time.

I came out of my dark ages while I was living abroad in the UK. I've recently moved home to Australia, during which I picked up a box full of lego from when I was a kid which my parents had thankfully held on to. I opened it up to find this monstrosity:

See, I'd been into this box once before, mid-dark-ages (about 10 years ago), and I'd decided to try and build a 4WD car. I had 2 uni joints and 2 diffs, which would have been enough if they were of the same type, but one was a 28 tooth (from 8850) and one a 16/24 tooth (from 8858). So I had to construct my own centre diff, by drilling out the centre hole of a 64 tooth gear.

If only I'd known about bricklink back then...
