I was asked to contribute to a Western diorama that is in progress of our local LUG. Since this is my first build in the Western setting, I made it pretty simple.

In addition to an almost dry tree beneath the main building, I added a smaller hut for more private use (toilet).

C&C is welcome.

Very nice! I think you've nailed the Western look and feel with this building. Any photos of the back?

I'm looking forward to seeing it in the full diorama.

I don't really get the point with you saying: I made it pretty simple...

This is awesome! A lot of nice detailing. A very beautifull tree!

And that small cabin is brilliant!

The only thing that is indeed simple are the plates on the ground. But as it is a desert, it doesn't bother me :classic:

Thanks, Kristel. The back is just plain wall of log bricks. I didn't even try to take photos, but I might do that by the end of the week. And the diorama will be done exhibited in mid April, so it's a while before it's finished.

 Thanks, I wanted a 'simple' look, with not many details on the building. And it was a straight forward build... I'm glad you like it despite not being 'simple'.

Thanks everyone for nice comments.

My only western 'set' is the CMF Cowgirl. So this build was something that evolved as my first Western set.

Nice ;) I love western, though I only have the old Fort Legoredo which misses some pieces, the Prairie Wagon and some Injuns meself x) And the awesome CMF bandit.

At the moment there's no interior, and it's not planned for now. Since it was planned as a house for a larger (group) diorama, I made it empty as the interiors can't be seen on the inside. But I might change that in the future.

It looks like it could be modular. Any interior in the works?
