Governor Mister Phes Posted January 24, 2007 Governor Posted January 24, 2007 I thought you were going to say "Jolly Jumping Junipers" My what big sapphires and rubies this jeweler has! Can't help but notice the lack of gold though. Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Aww, and here I was thinking it was going to be "Justin" :'-( :-P Fantastic vig as always, though I agree that the ruby might be...a bit large? Quote
Athos Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 Wow, must be a party going on around here tonight. I've never gotten that many replies in such a short time... that the ruby might be...a bit large? That's so he can chip and cut it down to normal [lego] gem size... Can't help but notice the lack of gold though. There is some on the back table, you probably just can't see it from this angle. Here is a better angle... The folder isn't public!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try back later. In the meantime, however, please enjoy the rest of my vignettes... Steve Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Normal Lego gem size...yeah, feeling stupid now :-$ Quote
Sir Dillon Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Nicely built, but I think this one looks a little too modern. Mostly the lamp, and the whole set up with the magnifine glass. I don't really know anything about medieval jewelers, though, so it could very well be historically accurate. Quote
Asuka Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Very nice. And clever, because after building the shop I Quote
oo7 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Wow, never expected someone would actually use Greedo torso in any non-Scifi MOC. It's, so weird. Nicely built, but I think this one looks a little too modern. Mostly the lamp, and the whole set up with the magnifine glass.I don't really know anything about medieval jewelers, though, so it could very well be historically accurate. Yeah, I was thinking this to, The main factor is probably the great color variation. Blue, tan, light grey, dark grey, black, green and all the gem colors. It just doesn't have a 'Medieval Dark Ages" feel to it. Although that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. Quote
Norro Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Definately shows your customary flare! I was going for jumping beans... Now I have to think up a related MOC... X-D God Bless, Nathan Quote
