El Bucanero Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Is it LEGO? Or is it lego? or Lego? and what about the plural form? LEGO's? Legos? Or lego bricks? or perhaps lego pieces? I often see lego is written on different ways, but what do you think? What is the "right" way to write the name of this great brand?? I personally like to write LEGO and LEGO bricks... Mr Tiber Quote
DoubleT Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Ehh Mr. Tiber... do you have too much time to think about things? ;-) BTW you are missing a choice: "It does not matter" he he Quote

ApophisV Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Fair Play policy of the LEGO Group: 1.) What about the plural form? LEGO's? Legos? Or lego bricks? or perhaps lego pieces? If the LEGO trademark is used at all, it should always be used as an adjective, not as a noun. For example, say "MODELS BUILT OF LEGO BRICKS". Never say "MODELS BUILT OF LEGOs". Singular form is LEGO brick, plural form LEGO bricks. 2.) What is the "right" way to write the name of this great brand?? Finally, the LEGO trademark should always appear with a Quote
hewkii9 Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Lego for both singular and plural, LEGO if I remember to do so. Quote

PaulC Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 All of the above are fine, EXCEPT for LEGO's which is a blatant misuse of the apostrophe (see point 3 on the link) and is therefore an evil abomination which must be stamped out immediately! ;-) Does no-one teach punctuation in school any more?
