Rook Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) Combining the celebration of Christ’s birth and All Saints' Day and then viewing them through our twisted view of modern secularization. Yikes. Makes me wonder what people will think of July 4th, Bastille Day, Remembrance Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and other more “recent” holidays in several hunder years. Wonder if on July 4th everyone will dress as zombies and eat red meat and set peoples houses on fire, Bastille Day if everyone will wear pink slippers and walk backwards, Remembrance… wait who am I kidding, majority people already have no clue what that is. However the MOC itself is amusing and creative. Might be kind of cool to have a Holiday Mash Up Contest. Take any two holidays and mash them into a MOC. Edited October 26, 2012 by Rook Quote

tedbeard Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 FYI "ween" is simply a contraction/bastardization of "Eve" or "Evening" (meaning the evening before a holy day aka "holiday") so Christween is simply another way of saying "Christmas Eve" as "Halloween" simply means "All Hallows Eve" or "the night before All Saint's Day". :) Quote
