Legogal Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Wow! These all are so fantastic that I can't pick a favorite! So glad that they are on display. We have done some family builds, and it is so much fun, especially during holidays. We built the Taj Mahal kit over Christmas 4 years ago, and it was really fun working together on the kitchen table. My husband and adult son did most of the building while I found parts they needed, which is my favorite job. Then my husband built a base and installed lighting inside the Taj. A flick of the wall light switch turns it on in our stairwell. Now we do some MOC's together when time permits, and it is still fun. My son likes to build places he has visited, so his giant Petronas Towers MOC brings back memories. Hubby built a lighting harness for that one as well, and the LED's are stunning especially at night. Keep up the great work with your mom as these designs are spectacular! Congratulations to both of you! Quote
SNIPE Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Your eye is tricked into thinking they are real/solid but they are lego! I really like these and the gallery. Quote
wokajablocka Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 You and your mothers 1:1 builds are amazing. You have used some nice techniques throughout the builds and are very life like. Quote
Hoexbroe Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Excellent builds, and congatulations on the oficial Lego recognition! -Much deserved! Quote
Gnac Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Now my 1:1 MOCs can be seen in the historical exhibition in the LEGO Idea House. That is one heck of an accolade. Did you build the display stands too? :B Quote
