barti673 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Hello I am having a really weird problem, I can't disassemble following parts from each other: and No matter how hard I try, it cannot go off. The pin is so sharp that it nearly injured my finger. I saw scratchings caused by trying to get the pin off ( it looks like the ball was too big to put it in ). Anyone with the same problem? Quote
Erik Leppen Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 What happens if you insert the pin in an inline axle joiner, put an axle in the other end, creating a lever, and then bend it? (I.e. the liftarm lies flat and you pull the axle down). But I don't have the newer steering liftarms so I don't know if they are any different from the old ones. Quote
daniele Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 I used many times this: Maybe this can solve your problem. Quote
SNIPE Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 If you lever the ball/axle brick forward it should come out.or try gripping the ball/axle brick with pliers dont grip super hardas you may not want to damage the part. Quote
KEvron Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 yeah, what Erik Leppen said: add an axle joiner for leverage. KEvron Quote
