Starwars4J Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 That is a NICE car. I want it now that I see the detail... Quote
Hobbes Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Whoa, I already liked the Truck from the preliminary pictures (6wide is a good truck size for City), but the main model doesn't look too shabby, either. I like the door designs on both. Good to see the designers are thinking about that again. I hated the doorless cars of late. Nice find *y* Quote
STARWARS LEGO! Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 OH i love those cars! lambagini doors *wub* Quote
xenologer Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Got this one myself actually, because I wanted the big windshield piece. That is a NEW piece btw, it *looks* a lot like an old piece, but in fact the sides have been made thinner so it is more of a true windshield now. Very useful feature since now you can use it on a Space cockpit and have a 6wide interiour instead of 4wide. I'll have to pick up a second set to stack those windshields in Classic Space style... Yeah, I bought it for parts, the models themselves are ok. Not minifig scale unfortunatly. The main car model bothered me because the side windows are fake -see the black 1*2 brick behind the 'glass'? that protrudes into the passenger cabin when doors close. The truck was ok, nice doors, good city scale except you're going to have to redo the interiour if you want to fit a minifig; it's for looks only. At the moment I've got it built as the F1 Racer, this is the best of the 3 models -because it lets me use that big windshield for Space :-D Quote
