This train was built by Brick Railways to be the as word in elegance. It features a baggage car, three coaches, a observation lounge with rear platfrom. It runs from Legoredo, through Clarksville, onto Alemeda Junction, into Los Legolas and then to Ironwood. It is pulled by a 4-6-2 steam locomotive at speeds of 75 miles per hour over most of the route, although the engine can go up to almost 100 miles per hour in an emergency.

That's a fantastic build. Not so keen on the colour, though. I've always thought that Emerald Night lookalikes are much smarter in bright primary colours, like blue or red.

Still, I'm downloading the LXF. If I can get hold of the parts, I'd like to have one of these!

Edit: I've taken the liberty of re-colouring the loco in LDD... what do you think of the new paintjob?

Neat-o.

Brown's an interesting choice for both engine and stock. It's unusual, but it works very well.

The loco looks very much like the Emerald Night engine, though not as striking in those colors. I would think a diesel might look better in brown, and a loco like this in Blue, Black, or Crimson, like the one in rday1982's photo.

The coaches look great in their tan with brown lining, that observation coach is my favorite. Perfect mix of UK and US looks, though I wish it was rounder at the back.

Overall.. not bad, not bad at all. I would love to see a unique, un-lookalike loco for the front of this train, and perhaps the loco in another color, but overall.. not bad, Mr. Murdoch.

If you want to see all the BUILDABLE versions of my engine, I'm going to make a topic for it soon.

Here's a teaser  :
