That sounds like your talking about the sets' baseplates there, I think Mr. Tully was describing these sets as "bases" like a headquarters or something of the such and asking us which set we like the most.

If Phes says it stays, I would cast my vote for Eldorado Fortress... err... EF! I never had the trading post, and though I do like Red Guards (Imperial guards over the Imperial Soldiers) better and both Imperial factions more so than Pirates generally. I think EF used the baseplate better and had some unique ideas that put it over the trading post!

ITP isn't a base. It's a trading port, hence Tading Post. Not much of a "base" there.

ITP all the way! It's problably not an actual 'base' but it's the best set.

I voted for the Eldorado Fortress, but it could have also been the Imperial Trading Post.

I don't own any of these 2 sets, but they are on the top of my list for next year!

EF gets my vote. It's got my two favorite mini-figs in it. Plus it comes with a descent amount of white castle bricks to make a kool harbor like ZCerberus's. Well, maybe not that many white castle pieces.

I don't own yet. But early next year i will (hopefully).
