Aanchir Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Anakin in the Podracer set comes to mind. They didn't get this one right at all. He should have had an expression of hard concentration and focus, not gritting his teeth in anger and/or frustration. I personally liked that figure's expressions. Sure, the actor portraying Anakin never made that expression, but minifigures are inherently somewhat cartoony, so it doesn't hurt to exaggerate their expressions beyond how the actors portray them. You could have a figure with a focused expression with just a stiff upper lip, but on a minifigure that wouldn't stand out too much from his default expression. Instead, we have him clenching his teeth in frustration. I can practically hear the frustration as he tries to get his podracer to start. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, WORK!" Quote

Even though Anakin in the movie never made that face, it's still obviously him. I don't want perfect, I want recognizable. Quote
