whitewall tires

I'm in the progress of building another minifig scale hot rod and I'm looking for a new technique for whitewall tires.

I already used the elastic band technique and the white small smooth tire technique. Now I've just seen Masashi Togami’s DeLorean (BTTF) Cuusoo project on Brothers Brick, looks like the tires are painted.

I wondered if there are any other techniques out there?

Maybe stickers?!

Maybe you can get a white rim or disk which has a inwards groove in which another brick will sit which will actually be the wheel the white part will be the wheel and you'd put a black tire over that

Maybe part 2695, 2994, 6580. 2020 86652, 32004b, 32004a can have a back tire and/or a grey inner hub. just checkout the lego wheels tires wheel caps and round bricks.

Thanks for the input; I've made a couple of different versions using discs and bought some stuff on BL to try out.
