The Blue Brick Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 At first, I wasn't really excited for this set, but after this review it is a must buy. The Iron man figure is great. Quote
-JD- Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Question: Does Iron Man's helmet visor slide up, or do you have to take it off and connect it again? Neither. It flips up. Just some things to say about the set accuracy to the movie: -There is no Iron Man in the Jeep Chase scene (really should have been another Jeep with Shield Agents) -It is at the start of the movie -The Cosmic Cube is actually the Teseract from Cpt. America (so it should be trans-light-blue) -The Jeep looked like it was more of a dark bley that dark blue -Loki does not get flipped of the Jeep at any point in the movie -Hawkeye is indeed under a spell by Loki -Loki's LEGO staff doesn't look a but like the one in the movie I guess LEGO is known for their adaptations so these things are really a big deal. Takua Nui Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I've just seen the Avengers movie with my (nerdy) friend, and I noticed that this particular sequence with Iron Man following Loki and Barton (Hawkeye) in the SHIELD jeep isn't actually in the movie. But somehow I'm not surprised. Quote
melbs Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 so is it correct that all iron man from loki's cosmic cube escape is mark 6? and the ones from the quintet is mark 7? Quote
Iron-Man Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Yes the one in the Quinjet is a new suit, MK VII, and in this set you get the one he made at the end of Iron Man 2 Quote

Marty McFly Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 It's a nice little set - I picked it up at full price though ($50 in Australia) which was probably a mistake as the finished model is kind of small. Great minifigs - Iron Man's flip-up mask is awesome, as is Loki's headpiece (looked ridiculous in the film and is even funnier replicated in Lego!). Quote
Brickmamba Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Thanks for the review, hawkeyes face just doesn't look right, the mouth seems to be too high and the goggle lens too close together, iron man on the other hand is great! Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 I think that I'm beginning to grow fond of the Iron Man fig. Not that I think this set is poor, but I just don't see myself buying it. Thanks for the review, though. Quote
sologuy369 Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 I bought this set yesterday. The iron man is nice. Thnanks for the review! Quote
Sam892 Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Was tempted to get another one of these the other day. Maybe when I have some money off coupons. Quote
