technic jumping car with power functions

I wanted to see about building a motor powered car or similar vehicle with a special spring loaded leg or arm that would allow the car to make small jumps I've had a few looks on the net but can't seem to finding anything so I was wondering if anyone had a link to something to give me a few ideas

Haven't seen something like that with Lego, but this car jumps quite well.

My guess is you would get about an inch at the most of air, lego is far too heavy and all these bricks add up, unlike aluminum for example, secondly the lego springs are not strong enough.

I have seen a lego hovercraft, this would be good on sand but it cannot jump.
