BrickBucket Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) A return home from some far off distant napoleon era war. Wanted to build something about coming home when I did this moc in January (after coming home), haven't posted it until now Edited March 28, 2012 by BrickBucket Quote
mephistopheles Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Simple but very elegant MOC. I like it a lot! Funny that the woman seems unhappy about his return. Quote
BrickBucket Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 Simple but very elegant MOC. I like it a lot! Funny that the woman seems unhappy about his return. I was trying to have her express that sudden shock of seeing someone you haven't seen in a long time. But yah it can definitely be interpreted as fear or unhappiness. Wish Lego would produce more facial expressions! Quote
mephistopheles Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Haha! From what I read that dude has a horny face and the woman thinks "now I have do that to him again, arrgh". But now that you say it, yeah it can also be a shock face. Quote

Ecclesiastes Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 (edited) I think she just doesn't recognizes him yet! Nice moc, I like the details like the glass window in the door! Edited March 27, 2012 by Ecclesiastes Quote
Captainmorgan Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Excellent MOC, great detail on such a small building. Wife: "Oh no! He's back, the house is a mess!" But, I don't know if I'm correct or not, but shouldn't this be in the pirates forum? Well he is a colonial soldier. Quote

I should rephrase that, the soldier is kinda ambiguous, returning home from some napoleanic era war. I don't really have a back story, you can interpret it however you like. Quote
viracocha Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I like the emotions this MOC makes to me. Good work! Quote
JackJonespaw Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Very nice MOC! I love all of the details on the walls and ground. Great job! Quote

GMW79 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 I like this a lot. The colors look great together and the concept is heart-warming. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 When I saw the woman's shocked face, I was hoping to see a different man inside the house. But this does have a very nice homey sort of feel to it. Quote
The Joker1 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Nice work its simple but very nice. Thats a nice tree design aswell. Quote
