Inspired by the 'Tank Girl' comic book series.

And if all this has inspired you to build a tank, you're in luck!

On his Flickr photoset, Mahjqa wrote "I only do this once per creation, since it's very work-intensive. What you see right here is a way to blend multiple pictures into one, so tinkering with lighting becomes a lot easier.

So that is the part you were talking about on Flickr, now I get it. I do wonder if those gears are strong enough for my heavy beastie. :look:

Very original creation and I envy the driving skills it has. The video is inspiring, thanks for making and sharing it!

First I thought you forgot about the tank's name but the sign in the back shows it! Cool video and great presentation of the MOC. There are going to be too many small tanks in a while.

Love the Tank Girl's tank

Any chance the turret section could be made clearer please I am having trouble working out how it operates and what parts to use

Im glad you folks like it! Anyway, off to the responses:

I'm fairly certain that it isn't named after this guy, it's simply 'Tank' in reverse. In an odd way.

There are going to be too many small tanks in a while.

I hope so, I'd love to see what other people do with this.

You've seen

at the end of the video? You've downloaded Lego Digital Designer to look at the LXF file? I wouldn't know what else would help you.
This is so cool, but i think it really needs a "Hello Kitty" or "Snoopy" sticker on the back.

Knowing Tank girl, more likely stickers are "I heart.png booze" or "I screw.gif kangaroos".
