Witch Doctor, Scorpio or Black Phantom?

Anyone know Witch one to get? I already have WD and I'm wondering if I should use him for parts or get Black Phantom / Scorpio... Any tips? Thanks in advance to those who post!

You mean another Witch Doctor?

Well, if so, I don't see why not. Ball joints are always nice to have, not to mention all those bone/shell pieces.

If you're looking for a character though I'd go with Black Phantom. He may be like Fire Lord/Rocka XL but he is very cool to own. Hope this helps.

If you're looking for parts, it depends on which type of part you want most. WD has all sorts of fabulous new TECHNIC pieces and a good amount of bones, Scorpio will really help for standard bone and shell collection, and BP will provide you with a good range of new bones/shells, but not in quantities as large as the other sets. BP probably also provides the best weapon pieces.

I have WD and Scorpio, and Scorpio is by far my favorite. He just has a lot of character, and the overall appeal of the SP line shws through really well with him. Can't say for sure about BP; I'm picking him up once I get the cash, and although he looks wonderful, there just isn't as much appeal for me in him than, say, Rocka XL.

I haven't invested in Factory myself, but I've got to say Black Phantom is the first humanoid titan in the line that truly has impressed me. He's a much better design than Witch Doctor IMO, although if you're tired of humanoids, Scorpio will probably do a lot more for you than BP will.

Also, I realize the Action figure forum is almost a sort of mini community that sees limited intersection with the Eurobricks community at large - but still, shouldn't a question like this go here?

It should do, but as generally members ignore Action Figure themes, you'll often get a better answer here instead.

Buy black phantom if you're going for new parts,go for scorpio if you are looking for an apprentice for your WD,and go for another Witch doctor for lots and lots of parts.Problem is,another witch doctor will probably empty your wallet so go for bp or scorpio,but scorpio is just a bunch of parts you will get in other sets and recolours.So my conclusion is,go for BP.

If you want to build larger creatures, get WD. He has 10 C-type Beams 5M long in black. They are the most used part in larger mocs, and so rare in sets.

None of them... I have WD, Rocka XL and Scorpio. All from Christmas and all were choosen by me. And I'm so dissapointed... HF aren't worth any money. I should spend it on Ninjago. But if you like it you should choose Witch. Good parts for good price.

I'd say, go for Black Phantom or Scorpio, the last one has wonderful pieces if you care about MOCing, but Black Phantom gets the Fire Lord build perfect.

I don't have close experience with Black phantom. Something nice about him for parts is the trans shells. But otherwise I won't opine.

In regards to WD vs Scorpio. If you just want parts, I would go with 2x Scorpio definitely. It has a lot of very generic pieces, and that is a good thing. Witch doctor is interseting as a tall set and probably the tallest HF set we will have for a while but a lot of its pieces are just large white armor or long bones (And of course, a lot of technic stuff you can easily get in bulk already) which are not as versatile as the large amount of bones and black shells from scorpio in my opinion.
