oDDerFisken Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Before i start posting, i will ask if this is the right place to post a ship of my own. I'm new here so sorry if it's a FAQ. I was in doubt because i saw on the mainforum that there where a forum called "Your Own Creations". So before I start posting like a maniac i would be sure this was the right place. Beforehand thanks -oDDerFisken Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted October 21, 2006 Governor Posted October 21, 2006 If its a pirate or historic ship (say over 100 years old) then yes this is the right place. Quote

oDDerFisken Posted October 22, 2006 Author Posted October 22, 2006 This is the right place mate, welcome to EB! Thank you very much. I will soon get the pictures in here, but got some technical problems getting my camera to work with my computer. And let me "warn" before you get to espectant (don't know if you is ofcourse) but I do not have so many bricks to build with. My base ship-form to the hull comes from this one: legomodel 6268 which is my only "real legoship". (Poor little me :'-( ) So the point is that it's not at all so big and ipmressing as some of the other ships I've seen in here. And my maybe biggest problem is to get enough bricks in the same color. I've tried to make a color scheme, but i dont think it succeded that well. Anyways; when i have heard the comments from you all I've planning to rebuild the ship with improovements. Quote

As long as you had fun building it ;-) Welcome to the Pirate forum! And my maybe biggest problem is to get enough bricks in the same color. I agree with Bonaparte, big is not necessarily better, in fact it would be nice to see some smaller ships like those seen in the Imperial Trading Post or the one Baron Sat created for Puerto Brico. Ohh.. well.. It's not THAT small. I would like to build some, but again; i do not have that many bricks :'-( *n* and i do not have those front-hull bricks. (yet.. maybe i could get some somehow) Quote
Norrington Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 welcome to the pirate forum! i just joined a few weeks go so i know what you mean. i dosn't really matter if you have a small ship. i dont even have any of the original pirate sets, i got the hats and bodies and such from friends. if you want a cooler looking ship, i'd try brick built. Governor Mister Phes Posted October 24, 2006 Governor Posted October 24, 2006 So what is the purpose of this thread I wonder? Perhaps I should turn it into an introduction thread for Mr oDDerFisken because we're 10 posts in and its not really about any MOC in particular. Quote
