Greetings creatures of the History & Adventure forum!

I was wondering if someone could tell me the name BrickLink uses for the mini-figure dress piece. I've seen that some female mini-figures in the later Castle theme and Knights Kingdom I use a decorated slope instead of traditional mini-figure legs so I'm wondering exactly what piece that is, and what sets can they be found in?

Hmmmm... That looks to be it, but if you check the mini-figure list BrickLink says only three mini-figures use this piece. I thought there was a decorated version of this piece or a similiar piece used in Knights Kingdom I?

So its BrickLink incomplete or is there a slightly different piece used for the dressing in Royal Knights and Knights Kingdom I?

bricklink lists painted pieces in a separte list...

here is what you are looking for...

decorated 2x2x2 slopes.

(scroll down the botom of the BL page and on the next one too)

there are actually 5 different painted dresses... one is your KK1 that you are looking for ;-)

i love the dress pieces... my only complaint is that they make your females taller than your males :-D :-D :-D

i guess all LEGO females who wear dresses also wear heels ;-)

To add to the confusion there are two versions of this piecee (with tube and without) although most were available in the same colours... i assume you want this information for a castle project Phes? X-D

Exactly what is this "tube"?

Of course, its not like I'd have a female Pirate mini-figure in a dress or anything outrageous like that!

The link above is to the 'without tube version' according to BL. So the base of this piece is just an outline of a square with no tube to connect between the 4 dots it rests on such as most lego pieces feature...

i have always wondered why the slopes w/o tube are the only variety used for the minifig dresses ??? because the slope is much more versatile with the tube than without...

does anyone have any insight on this ???

More angles are achievable without the tube...ie for a young user smashing it down on various lego surfaces... just a thought...

ya, i suppose so... that is probably right.

but also without the tube, you need a stud on two opposite corners of the square bottom, in order to snap the figure to a baseplate.

to me, the piece seems less versatile.

anyone else have any theories ???
