What is Your Favorite Lego Star Wars Year?

This is really hard to decided on, 1999 was a perty nice year but I think that was just because it was the first year of lego Star Wars...

2008 was pretty good(The DEATH STAR) aswell as 2010(Freeco speeder,AT-AT,Wampa Cave), 2011(Falcon, Podracers,Naboo Starfighter) and this year 2012(Jabba's Palace, Gungan Sub, Y-wing) but may favorite Lego Star Wars year would have to 2009...

In 2009 we saw the Republic Shuttle, Echo Base Turrent, Hyena Bomber, Corporate Alliance Tank, Seaperatist Shuttle and one of my favorites the Ventor so ya, 2009 was the best lego Star Wars year in my opinion.

2008 was my favourite. The Death Star came out then as well as the CW sets which look pretty awesome (apart from the minifigures )

From 2004-08 the sets just seemed to be awesome. My favorite year would have to be '07 because of the MTT, Battlepacks, New AT-ST, and the new blasters.

1999 - Because that was when Lego started producing Star Wars LEGO!

Since I think of the 10179 s the most awesome SW LEGO set ever I'd have to go with 2007

I would say, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. Sets years with great playability even after 15 years since Star Wars started back in 1999.

Even better in my opinion than sets of 2013/2014.

I really wish I could pick 2004, 2006 and 2007 at the same time, all of them had such a great LEGO feel to them, but 06 takes the cake, due to the builds themselves, the 6209 Slave I and the fact that all but one of the sets are Original Trilogy. The worst year for me is 2011, all it was for me was poorly designed overpriced sets that put exclusive figures in them. Every set that year felt like an overpriced battle pack, of course with the exception of the battle packs and the 7965 Falcon.

Having just gotten back into the world of Lego, I haven't been around for anything except this year for when the releases were new. For me, however, 2014 has been amazing. I was able to get the Sandcrawler, AT-AT, ISD, Mos Eisley Cantina, Snowspeeder, and numerous other sets which came out this year that I had missed out on the first runs. I think this year, in conjunction with 2013, has been a very good year for Lego Star Wars fans who just came out of their dark ages.

For me, it would be 2007,2008 and 2013. A lot of the sets we got in those years, in my opinion, were nothing short of perfect the Death Star, The AT-OT and dropship, Jabba's Sail Barge and a whole lot more as well.

Personally, 2006-2009 are my favorite Lego Star Wars years. I love all of the sets (minus the clone wars stuff) and their designs, and the figs are nice too. This was the time when I really started getting into Lego Star Wars, so naturally they're my favorite.

I started getting into lego star wars around 2005, so those sets were always special to me. '06 and 7 were really good too.

IMO the Golden Age of SW was 2004-2008. 2012 was amazing too, but due to the high prices I wouldn't consider it the best year.
