Si-MOCs Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Found this article and thought it was interesting ... NHL enforcer (the guy that fights) plays with LEGO! http://www.usahockeymagazine.com/article/2012-01/leave-his-legos-alone I like how he put in the brightly colour mats ... I bet he's totally a build on the floor guy Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I see he has some of the newer Harry Potter sets... he has good taste! Quote
Ricecracker Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Speaking of athletes and LEGO, I saw Raptors player Andrea Bargnani at one of the LEGO stores in Toronto last week. Quote
legomonk Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Never forget to "build" it like Beckham LOLZ Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Kaleta? It's interesting to see celebrities or athletes appreciate LEGO Quote
Si-MOCs Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Speaking of athletes and LEGO, I saw Raptors player Andrea Bargnani at one of the LEGO stores in Toronto last week. What was he buying? I wonder if it was for himself or someone else? Please be Friends ;) Never forget to "build" it like Beckham HAHAHA Quote
Vindicare Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Never forget to "build" it like Beckham LOLZ Ba-dum- cha! That's a good one. Now, if only we could get Kaleta and Beckham...and any other LEGO obsessed celebrity on here. Quote
Brickus Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I hope the top wing on the Imperial Shuttle is on the correct way because in the picture it looks odd. Quote
Etzel Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Ba-dum- cha! That's a good one. Now, if only we could get Kaleta and Beckham...and any other LEGO obsessed celebrity on here. Well, the Olympic champion in high jump from 2004, Stefan Holm, is at least member at Swebrick, the Swedish LUG, and I wouldn't be surprised if he is lurking here too. Quote
AndyC Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I hope the top wing on the Imperial Shuttle is on the correct way because in the picture it looks odd. LOL. Yup, that looks like it's on backwards. It good to know even the rich and famous occasionally slip up when building! Quote
Deefuzz Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Very awesome article. It's so cool to see "elite" class athletes dig the same thing I do. :) I wonder what other celebrities and athletes are into Lego? I would love to see some of those collections! Quote
