Yes sorry, ideas come from many sources from the forum... but yes, i have to say that your work is very impressive! Also, as ex-fireman I’m a little bit biased towards fire trucks! This project was parked for a long time and now finally had the time to work on it. Parenthood has taken a lot of my hobby time, I did amend my original post. cheers jaime Quote
Emilus Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Looks very good. Red color is great for this truck. Quote

K9DOG Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Hi While waiting for some red technic staff from BL, I have started working on the FIRE equipment to be carries on the truck. Here you can see some SCBA bottles and fire extinguishers. I still need to get some firehouses for the back storage cheers Quote
timslegos Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Very nice. you should add a water pump so you could attach a pneumatic hose and use it as a fire hose. tim Quote
K9DOG Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Cheers Hi Tim, I did have a water pump, or at least try to model one from lego parts… Here my water pump… And this is the real one from Rosenbahuer My plan is to put the houses above the pump, like in a real truck Cheers Quote
timslegos Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Sorry i should have said a functional water pump . tim Quote

laix Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) I really like this classic design. Are you planning to put on some custom stickers? What about rescue shears like this They would fit the scale of your truck, if you use LEGO Pneumatics Edited January 18, 2012 by laix Quote

I need to check if I still have some unused pneumatics... For the stickers, that’s the plan, but still need to finish the cabin, and the riggings in the back. cheers Jaime Quote
