Paul Boratko Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) You can order this part directly from Lego but it is not black and yellow, both parts are black like in the newer sets ... The cost is $2.11 USD each(for both pieces) and the part number is 4227853 Even though it is 2 pieces, it is sold as a set... Hope this helps... Edited December 29, 2011 by Paul Boratko Quote

Thank u,I'll order them in black and use my own yellow pieces so,can I order on Lego shop or have I to ring them? Have u a link to order online please? Quote
Paul Boratko Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 You have to order them over the phone, you can't do it online... It is easy though... I've ordered 1000's of parts from Lego in the past... Just go to your country's Lego Shop at Home and get the number from there... How exactly did you get the Yellow part without the black hub? Or did your black pieces break? Quote

Paul Boratko Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Is it important that the one part stay Yellow? It seems like a real chore to separate those 2 parts from each other just to keep them Black and Yellow... Quote

It seems like a real chore to separate those 2 parts from each other just to keep them Black and Yellow... I could leave them black but it would not be original then , I really bought it for those huge tires and there like new but I would like to restore the set now as it needs very little. I could leave them black I suppose , I need new cv joints too as there slightly crack from age but this seems common, I'll have to buy them off brick link as the 4 L cv joints are not made anymore!
