8109 Flatbed Truck.

This may be my favourite set, it's just so well designed and put together with the lift rail and the way the rear drops when lowering the flatbed. I'm very impressed.

I couldn't agree more. the way the rear wheels lower with the bed is simply amazing. And the way the car lift has 2 actions controlled by one motor, also genius. Not to mention the beautiful cab design. i think i am in love  .

None, no one gave me Lego this Christmas. :cry_sad:

I did buy 8110 a few months ago and was planning to build it over Xmas. It was too busy. At this rate I may have a MSIB in 10 years time...

I got all the new 1H2012 sets. All are now built except for the tow truck, which will be remedied shortly. I can take some pictures is anyone is interested.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy building Flatbed truck for my son, and also the mighty Unimog, which was just finished today. I would say that I was really impressed with the functionality of both models. I think the flatbed truck is one of the nicest pieces of styling done for some time - on a truck.

The mog was a brilliant built, bagged in stages, but still steady work. I've already modified it slight with a LA to accomodate a tipping body. One dilemma: Should I put all the stickers on the mog? Some of them are shared between two bricks/plates. I thought LEGO had stopped doing that. I normally keep them built 'til bored and then sort the pieces into my lego Salvage yard. Although it might be a while with the mog....
