Athos Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 No, I've not started back on AoJT4, nor have I abandoned it. But, I thought I'd share with you all the reason for this major delay. Classic-Castle sponsored a storytelling contest, which, given my my penchant for story writing, I felt compelled to enter. So, for those [two] of you who are have been anxiously awaiting the latest installment, hopefully this will help tide you over: The Wanderer Steve Quote
Norro Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 That obviously represents a lot of work! The story is quick and well told. I liked the fire 'effect' and many of the scenes. I particularly enjoyed the bley sickness, I was thinking of something similar for a MOC I postponed. Keep up the good work. God Bless, Nathan (who still prefers the JT stories ;-) ) Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Steve: I like your vignettes. The story is good too. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted October 15, 2006 Governor Posted October 15, 2006 Another Athos story! I haven't read one in quite a while because I've had to do plenty of reading for essays instead, and today is no different. Just looking at the Brickshelf folder there seems to be quite a bit of work here which might be a lot for the average user to digest. I've been pondering the best way to tackle distributing such a story over a forum in such a way that the reader isn't overwealmed with the volume of content. I'm thinking installments... Maybe every 2 to 3 weeks, each with a cliff hanger ending... Anyway... I shall approach this story again after I get my essays out of the way. Quote
Scouty Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Beutiful, just beutiful. Great story, good sets, and good figs! Though from my screen the lettering was a bit hard to read, I really enjoyed this story. I hope you win! Quote
