medib Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 My wife and I were honored and privileged to join LUCNY (Lego Users of Central New York) on their Lego Train display at the Central New York Train Show at the State Fair grounds (Syracuse, NY). I had to work Friday night, so we were unable to go until Saturday at noon. We were hoping to get there by 3:30 (4:00pm) but go kinda lost getting off the Thruway.... and I thought I had a good sence of direction. Anways, we met up with Kevin Salm and Brandon Pernat and then had some dinner and got to see their really cool Clubhouse. The next day we got there at 900 am, and the show opened up at 10 am. We brought a few things, not wasnt really all that necessary. We had a blast there for the day and it was nice to hang out with some old friends and meet a couple new ones as well. My brickshelf folder Stuff I brought: Hopper Trailers (pulled by a stock Lego tractor) Church Community Garden (which some kids said was a "jail") Fire Truck http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/medib/SyracuseTrains2011/100_7220.jpg Brown Box car Sante Fe "B" Unit I hope you enjoy the photos. Like I said, I had a good time with the rest of the group, and I hope we can do other events in the future. Quote
