Stephen Provoost Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Hello, I'm a big fan of lego since I was a child. Now I often play with lego technic. This is the first time I made something I want to share with other people. Take a look at the pictures (probably not yet public) Are there suggestions to make it better? Thank you Stephen Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) Welcome to the forum, you trailer looks good but since your BS folder is not 'live' yet it would be good if you could deeplink a few more pics. Edited November 6, 2011 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
DLuders Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 @ Stephen P.: Since it may be several days before your Brickshelf gallery is made public, here is how to "Deeplink" your pictures directly: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5448&st=0 . Only you can access (and see) your gallery now, but "Deeplinking" allows others to see your various pictures now. Quote
DLuders Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) @ Stephen P.: Your Lowbed Trailer looks good! It looks like you have used many parts from the 8052 Container Truck set. Have you seen Han's "Truck 8x4 with Detachable Lowloader" and other trailers on his website? Edited November 6, 2011 by DLuders Quote

I have seen his website, he makes very nice stuff. I hope, someday, I can also make amazing pieces of lego technic. Quote
timslegos Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I think you definitely are on the track to making great MOCs! Your trailer is very nice. What are the functions of the trailer? tim Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I like your trailer, does it extend in length? Quote
davidmull Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Very nice trailer, would look well behind 8258 and even better with 8043 on the bed :) Quote
Stephen Provoost Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 I like your trailer, does it extend in length? Thank you No, it can't extend in length because of the steering wheels at the back. Maybe I can make it extend :) Quote

What are the functions of the trailer? tim Thank you :p motorized: It has 'legs' to lift it from the truck the thing at the end can go down or up ( I don't know the name in English) not motorized: there are extensions to make it wider. timslegos Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 the thing at the end can go down or up ( I don't know the name in English) The things at the end that lower are called ramps in English . tim Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Heres a way of powering the wheels and ramps and have it extend in length. You attach a small pf motor to the diff (ether end)but not to the '12' axle. *I used mlcad today. Quote
