brickmack Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Well I like (LEGO) bricks, and my first name is Mack, so.... I think it's rather obvious how I constructed my name after that bit... Quote
Isaac5 Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 My name is Isaac, and I guess I like the number five? I don't know, I have had Isaac5 as my username on many sites for a looong time. Quote
starwarsfanatic Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I am starwarsfanatic because... I love Star Wars! Quote
Big Cam Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Well I like (LEGO) bricks, and my first name is Mack, so.... I think it's rather obvious how I constructed my name after that bit... I think that's a cool first name. Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Ok sounds reasonable to explain, since some people don't get it ... I chose my nickname back in the days when I had to choose one for Call of Duty which I played online a lot. I was listening to all kind of music in that time and during the Metallica song Master of Puppets, I thought hey, that could be me. It also has many meanings, since puppets can be characters controlled by me in games and hey, it could even be the LEGO minifigs! As already mentioned by some users, Master of Puppets was a bit long so I decided to remove the vowels and separate the words with capitals instead of spaces - like you do with the variables in Java programming (yes I'm an IT). Have been using this name for everything since then and it's really funny when some people see it and whilst playing Starcraft II they respond to me with something like: Your life burns faster!!! airsoftg36c Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) airsoftg36c When I'm not PC gaming, or playing with my legos, I'm playing airsoft. Airsoft is my hobby away from Legos. In fact, I'm considering selling my legos to my bro so I can upgrade my gun. A hard choice lol Even though my primary is an MP5, my heart has a very soft place for the G36 variants. Thus, my name airsoftg36c. Basically if you see anyone with the username airsoftg36c, or a variant of it (airsoftg36c2) thats me. I'm thinking about changing my username to Starkiller(from the Force Unleashed games) Edited April 8, 2011 by airsoftg36c Quote
brickyrob Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Mine speaks for itself really - 'bricky' - lego related, bricks etc + 'rob' is my name. Chances are if you see 'brickyrob' on other websites... that's probably me. I normally try and keep the same Username and Avatar where possible for simplicity. Quote
The Spark That Bled Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I'm a music teacher and musician and love music in general. The Spark That Bled is the title of a song by the Flaming Lips, which is one of my favorite bands. Quote
Gregorovich Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 After reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for the second time, I was in a Harry Potter-ish mood (you know, after reading an interesting book or watching a good film, you just feel like being in it the story ). So I chose the name Gregorovich, because he's got a cool name . It was only after I made my name, however, that I realised it was spelt Gregorovitch . Quote
Nom Nom Broccoli Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Well, I like Broccoli, and I like lolspeak, and I think it really sounds like "nomnomnom" if someone eats with pleasure, so that's where my name is from. I called myself Tion Medon or Seth Bedoryx at "imperiumdersteine.de" and flickr, but I changed it to Nom Nom Broccoli one day. Also, the woman producing the Bond movies is called Barbara Broccoli (I don't know if that is her real name, but I really like the Bond movies even if I haven't seen them all). Quote
Horry Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Well, my name comes from the Hornblower-books. His first wife, Maria Mason, always called Hornblower Horry (from his first name Horatio).I always thought that her later fate was an unfair one and that despite her lack of intelligence she was a brave and very loyal soul. So I decided to use that name to give her some kudos. Quote
Legoless Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 My name is pretty self-explanitory- I don't actually own any Lego >gasp<. I've been hovering on this site for probably a year now and I couldn't bear not to be a part of it- so many interesting topics. I will, of course, invest in some Lego when finances allow but I'm not currently in work and in a bit of a financial pickle- which I hope will resolve itself soon. If/when I do start posting pics of my MOCs my name will be something of a misnomer- I should really have chosen a name more carefully! I would have chosen L'egoiste (pun on the French for 'selfish one- which I hope I'm not!) but someone here already has a version of that name and I didn't want to confuse people by adopting a similar monicker. I'm hoping in the near future to get my hands on my old childhood Lego if it hasn't been got rid of or passed on to grandchildren. Lots of blue 4.5v train track, some grey 12v too, as well as a couple of motors and other goodies. The newest Lego in that collection will be from the mid 1980's with much of it much older (charity shop finds and hand-me-downs from parent's friends who had outgrown it). And, I'm sorry to say, some particularly poor quality clone stuff which I bought for something like 99p per bag. Quote

Fallenangel Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I think "Fallen Angel" is pretty self-explanatory... 327 is the docking bay on the Death Star that housed the Millennium Falcon as well as the prime factorization of 42, which in turn is the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything (as well as - although I found out after I chose the number - the length of an X-wing in feet). March 09, 1989 is a certain pop star's birthday and completely unrelated to Star Wars. Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) Well I love Fuzzy things, and I LOVE Lego Bricks! Which Makes FuzzyLegobricks. I usually accidently sign in with Fuzzylegbricks and it fails! Edited May 10, 2011 by Fuzzylegobricks Quote
Roodaksta Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) Well, back then when I was just small and had found out about the LEGO site, I decided to join, Bionicle was my favorite theme back then so I chose to have a Bionicle like name, So I chose Roodaka, since she is my favorite out of the Metru Nui saga, But accidentally misspelled it and got stuck with the name Roodaksta. I personally like this name better than Roodaka. Now I use this name for every LEGO site I join. Know you know the story behind my name. Edited May 14, 2011 by Roodaksta Quote
Ex cinno Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Well my name is easy to explain. "cinno" is most common word of bolognese slang and means for "naugthy kid". Just as I was once. "Ex", because I have exceeded now 50 years: 57 to be exact. I have played with Lego when I was young, then I have played Lego with my sons, and now, waiting for grandchildren, I play alone not to lose the habit. A box of Lego is forever. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 As I getting close to 8000 posts, I have rarely told everyone on EB why my EB name/handle (I was a CB'er once) is what it is. Well, the Lightning part first...my business name is Lightning Sight & Sound - mobile TV/Hifi Repair (though with the prices these days....installing and fixing boo-boo's made by old folk is what I mostly do now). Second, might be more simple by my avitar....my team is the SANFL I have supported for over 36 years....the Glenelg Tigers.....'Were from Tigerland !' There now you all know what LT stands for....may the brick be with us all ! Quote

Odd foot note, when I started dating my wife years and years ago I found out when we got serious her brother played for Glenelg and along side my heroes in the early eighties....score...not many people can claim that ! Oh, yeah posting....I'm having fun and spreading the joy of the BRICK ! Hey, I like that....spreading the joy of the BRICK....yeah, might use that now and again ! Keep on being a NON-comformist ! Lobot Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Lobot is one of my favourite characters in The Empire Strikes Back. Although he doesn’t do much, I like the idea that he was linked directly with Bespin's main computer system (via his headband attachment), and he also looks great as a minifigure! Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 My previous name was 'the red brick' but now it's changed to yellow. This time it's not because I have to many yellow bricks it's just because It feels and sounds better with the word yellow. Quote
Larrynautik Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Larry is the americanization of my french first name, Laurent. Nautik simply refers to the surf on the web. Quote
