AEC Regent III RT

If your wondering what an AEC Regent III RT even is, follow this Wkipedia link. This is my version of a that bus except for two details: the stairs go to the wrong side, and it's brown instead of red or dark green. Anwyay: The Associated Equipment Company (AEC) Regent Type III is famous for being the purple Knight Bus in the Harry Potter "Prisoner of Azkaban" movie. In the movie the Knight Bus has three levels. This was made by using three diffrent buses welded together to make the triple decker. In real life service, this bus type was built from 1939 to 1954 and used until the late 1970's. It was usually painted red or dark green, but I decided on brown for this MOC just to be diffrent.

And now, onto the pictures:

The front view of the bus. This type of bus is very simmiler to the AEC Routemaster, a later type of double decker. The Regent III's are often mistaken for Routemasters by the public and by by the media.

The bottom floor with 9 of the 19 seats.

The top floor with the rest of the seats.

This final part, the rear staircase, which is missing from LDD. It is supposed to be black, unlike in this picture.

Not bad, I would have prefer some curves on it....to many sharp edges...sorry, it looks it was made pre-town days.
