natelite Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 i visited my local walmart for storage boxes and happened to see the lego sets on clearance sale. what's available depends on your local store. i nabbed a few batwing sets at 50%, and the highlight of the day...the largest discount ever scored...is it 70%? no.... is it 90%? no....is it 99%? no....it is ....99.74%!!! 8-

We have plenty of WAL*MARTs here in NY. i googled and you're right....a few on long island and one upstate. i thought i read recently they banned walmart from setting a shop in brooklyn because it's bad for the local business and also because of low wages. hmm....dunno. The Wally World in my area has sporadic deals (but nothing as good as you did.) i guess they were desperate for my quarter. :-P now i can share in the hatred of jelly bean knights. :-P
