El Bucanero Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I don't know what cpt means, but I made it with corel draw, maybe that is useful... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 17, 2006 Governor Posted September 17, 2006 Its obviously not the Committee for People Torture! I've Googled it and a .cpt is Corel Draw's native format which is no good to anyone without Corel Draw. So what you'll need to do Mr Tiber is to export or save the images as a .jpg file. Otherwise its no good to us! Quote
El Bucanero Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 how? normally the automaticly change to jpg. Admiral Starwind do you have corel draw? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 17, 2006 Governor Posted September 17, 2006 Surely Corel Draw has help documentation included with it. I should imagine there is a Help pull down menu which either brings up a Help dialogue or a webpage. Both should have a search feature where you can type "export to jpg" Anyway, I've done a quick Google search and found a webpage that tells you how to export to jpg in Corel Draw 8. Why am I doing this... I dunno... I should be writing my essay... I don't get why its so hard for people to find this stuff for themselves... Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 Wo calm down Mr Phes yikes, anyways no i don't Mr Tiber. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 18, 2006 Governor Posted September 18, 2006 I am calm. I was pointing out that finding this kind of information is relatively simple and I don't understand why people don't at least look before giving up and waiting for someone else to provide the answer. Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 uh hu alright well perhaps thats an issue but perhaps some people arent as technologically gifted as others is all i'm saying. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 18, 2006 Governor Posted September 18, 2006 How hard is it to do a Google search or go to the Help menu in a computer program? Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 how hard is it to use the internet? there are alot of stupid people in the world mr Phes Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 18, 2006 Governor Posted September 18, 2006 I was specifically referring to Mr Tiber and I assumed he wasn't stupid! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 18, 2006 Governor Posted September 18, 2006 I probably just need a break... I didn't mean to sound angry at Mr Tiber, I was just wondering why he hadn't searched for help before asking. Quote
El Bucanero Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 That's because of the computer, 1. Something is stuck and it just turns off in less then 5 minutes.. 2. Because of point 1, I can't search for something, what makes the time even shorter... Hope that clears it up... Quote
Admiral Starwind Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 sounds like you got that trojan that shuts the computer down either LSASS or the other one that i cant rmemeber for the life of me. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 19, 2006 Governor Posted September 19, 2006 Anyway, what's being done about this .cpt file? I've got Paint Shop Pro which can open .cdr (CorelDraw Drawing) and .cmx (CorelDraw Clipart) but not .cpt. At the very least Mr Tiber should be able to open the file in Corel Draw, go to Save As and change the file type to .jpg then save the file... Quote

That's probarly to much for my computer, if it does to much, it won't even be on for a minute :-( Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 19, 2006 Governor Posted September 19, 2006 Are you saying your computer is still out of action? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 20, 2006 Governor Posted September 20, 2006 If you're using Windows XP I might be able to suggest a solution... So you're saying your computer comes up with a message telling you its about to shut down within 60 seconds and there's nothing you can do it about it? Quote
El Bucanero Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 It doesn't give a message at all. it just stops...and it is very anoying when I am doing something important....And it won't even start by now, only a black screen with an arrow on it... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 20, 2006 Governor Posted September 20, 2006 Can you load Windows in safe mode? Quote
El Bucanero Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 I didn't try that yet... But I think it won't help :-( I don't have the choice on wich way to start... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 20, 2006 Governor Posted September 20, 2006 You need to press F8 while the computer is booting. Just keep doing it repeatedly if you don't know the exact moment to do it. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 21, 2006 Governor Posted September 21, 2006 By the way Mr Tiber... Where are you posting if you're not posting on your home computer? Quote
