Its obviously not the Committee for People Torture! I've Googled it and a .cpt is Corel Draw's native format which is no good to anyone without Corel Draw. So what you'll need to do Mr Tiber is to export or save the images as a .jpg file. Otherwise its no good to us!

Surely Corel Draw has help documentation included with it. I should imagine there is a Help pull down menu which either brings up a Help dialogue or a webpage. Both should have a search feature where you can type "export to jpg"

Anyway, I've done a quick Google search and found a webpage that tells you how to export to jpg in Corel Draw 8.

Why am I doing this... I dunno... I should be writing my essay... I don't get why its so hard for people to find this stuff for themselves...

I am calm. I was pointing out that finding this kind of information is relatively simple and I don't understand why people don't at least look before giving up and waiting for someone else to provide the answer.

That's because of the computer,

1. Something is stuck and it just turns off in less then 5 minutes..

2. Because of point 1, I can't search for something, what makes the time even shorter...

Hope that clears it up...

Anyway, what's being done about this .cpt file? I've got Paint Shop Pro which can open .cdr (CorelDraw Drawing) and .cmx (CorelDraw Clipart) but not .cpt.

At the very least Mr Tiber should be able to open the file in Corel Draw, go to Save As and change the file type to .jpg then save the file...

That's probarly to much for my computer, if it does to much, it won't even be on for a minute :-(

If you're using Windows XP I might be able to suggest a solution...

So you're saying your computer comes up with a message telling you its about to shut down within 60 seconds and there's nothing you can do it about it?

It doesn't give a message at all. it just stops...and it is very anoying when I am doing something important....And it won't even start by now, only a black screen with an arrow on it...
